Northern
New South Wales Safari (4days)
The
New England region has some of the most spectacular countryside
in Australia. The region has the last truly wild river systems left
on the continent & many rare & endangered creatures are
found here. Creatures like the spotted quoll that often visit our
campsite.
On
this tour a base is established where there are all the facilities
I.E. camp kitchen, shelter, flush toilets & hot showers. There
is a communal fire pit for the evening get together & open grassed
camping areas.
While
the facilities are quite civilized, this is a holiday destination
with a difference.
You will be isolated in an area that others do not have access to.
The tent or camper trailer can safely be left during the day as
we go exploring. You only need to pack up once at the end.
There are interesting walks to do on return to camp.
You may like to swim in a clear pool fed by a mini waterfall.
A crystal clear creek runs through the campground & is always
guaranteed to be flowing. Panning for gold is possible.
Each
day's travel takes you through locked off areas with wonderful views
not seen by the average tourist. Many other interesting features
exist such as the largest wetland area in inland NSW, isolated waterfalls,
spectacular granite outcrops, eucalypt & rain forest. The evidence
of early mining & pioneer efforts are also a feature.
Our
safaris have the family in mind & amp; are scheduled during school
holidays. They are partially catered.
Tour is suitable for off road camper trailers.
