Your
experienced guides Bob and Marian Rogan, are pasionate about the
Australian bush and have extensive knowledge of the areas they travel,
as well as the flora and fauna. Travel
each tour knowing that Bob and/or Marian will be your personal guides,
ensuring a safe and memorable experience.
4WD
DRIVER TRAINING
We have specialized training courses designed for the recreational
4-wheel driver. Our qualified trainer has had over 25 years experience
in training and 4wd recovery.
INTRODUCTORY
4WD TRAINING COURSE is recommended for the recreational driver who
wants to learn the capabilities and limitations of their vehicle.
We also have Ladies days Introductory 4WD driving days.
4WD
SAND DRIVING COURSE covers the basics of sand driving and is one
of the easier forms of off road driving. Covered on the day is Recovery,
Sand driving techniques, vehicle recovery and beach driving rules.
4X4
TRAINING WEEKEND. These weekends are designed for those that are
likely to find themselves off the beaten track or are planning extended
travel.
ADVANCED
RECOVERY. We also offer instruction for the more experienced off
roader.

If
you have your own 4WD vehicle, we have tours where you can 'tag-a-long'
with us in your vehicle, making it a great way to see some of our
country without having the hassle of having to get permits, or purchasing
expensive recovery gear... not to mention the worry of where to
go and getting there safely! Our fully experienced tour leader carries
all the recovery gear that may be required, giving you a 'worry-free'
trip. Remember, 'There's Safety in Numbers'! Travel with our experienced
4WD tour leaders and have a worry free trip. Please see our Tours

4WD Trainer & Tour Leader
Bob Rogan originally from a beef cattle property in Northern
NSW Bob's 4WD experience started at an early age and has continued
to this day.
Bob completed an apprenticeship in vehicle mechanics with the Australian
Armed Forces in the late sixtie's then went on to serve for 22 years,
maintaining, operating and instructing on all types of multi wheel
drive vehicles. In more recent times Bob has worked as a Technical
Training Officer for apprentices, as well as carrying out driver
training for one of Australia's largest motor dealerships and has
a certificate IV in Workplace Training and assessment.
Brisbane Hinterland 4WD Tours offer the wealth of knowledge and
practical life skills derived from experience operating in areas
as diverse as Central Australia and the Antarctic continent. Bob's
excellent mechanical skills and vehicle recovery knowledge places
you in the safest of hands for all training and tours.
